Q:

I just started up the application and suddenly it's no longer licensed!

A:

You may have more than one copy of the application on your system. When you double-click a document, the Workspace will look around the file system for a copy of the software with which to open the document. What appears to be happening is that the copy of the application it found was unregistered.

When you specifically located the licensed copy of the application and launched it first, everything was fine.

For example, you may have a Diagram!.app in your home folder under /Apps. When you double clicked a Diagram! document, it may have launched this copy instead of the registered copy in /LocalApps.

If this is the case, either delete the unregistered copy, or place the licensed copy on your Application Dock and it should fix the problem.
