If a page is loaded which contains frames and then you navigate within one of the frames to some other pages, the other frames remain displayed - the problem is that when the arrows (navigation buttons) are clicked to go backwards, you are taken back to the page with which frames were first displayed - it does not page back though the links in that frame. How is this supposed to work?

A:

How history interacts with frames: If you click on a frame, that frame becomes selected and the arrows apply to that frame's history. If you click on the URL field at the top of the window, history reflects the entire window and arrow keys change the entire window.
