Ampersands and other special characters in OmniWeb 2.0 are not working correctly. They worked in earlier versions of OmniWeb.

A:

You need to terminate the ampersand (&) or other special character in your reference or it could be interpreted as an entity. For an ampersand &, you would use: &

• To display pi π, use π
• To display less than <, use &lt;
• To display less than or equal to ≤, use &le;
• To display greater than >, use &gt;
• To display greater than or equal to ≥, use &ge;
• To display copyright ©, use &copy;
• To display trademark ™, use &trade;
• To display registered trademark ®, use &reg;

Your page worked in earlier versions of OmniWeb because OmniWeb didn't understand entities, so we'd leave it alone--this has been fixed in the shipping version of OmniWeb 2.0.
