Q:
I was rather disappointed when I found out, that TIFF files dragged into a diagram are stored uncompressed as typed streams of NXImages. This blew up a diagram to 1.6 MByte, while the three (lzw-compressed) TIFF files had less than 20 KByte each. I'm always a little concerned about resource usage. I'd prefer Diagram to store the original TIFF files, as does the current version of Concurrence.
A:
While implementing Diagram we had to leave it as typed streams. Future versions of Diagram will do this correctly. Concurrence does this correctly.
