The program crashes when I launch it, and I can't figure out why. I also don't have any Services in any of my menus, so I cannot build services anywhere.

For some reason, you do not have permission to build services. Diagram! uses services on launch, and will crash if it's not possible to create them. Your account is messed up somehow. Check execute permissions on your home folder, and .NeXT folder. Move the .NeXT folder and let NEXTSTEP re-create it on login, if necessary. Also, you may try creating a new account from scratch and see if that person has services.
